Cultural & Student Affairs Center
Cultivating character, creativity, and community at Tehran International School.

About Our Department

The Cultural and Student Affairs Department plays a central role in shaping the vibrant student life at Tehran International School. While academic learning forms the foundation of education, this department focuses on nurturing the personal, social, cultural, and ethical development of students.

Our mission is to create a balanced educational environment where students grow not only as successful learners but also as responsible, creative, and globally aware individuals. Through a variety of cultural programs, student activities, artistic initiatives, leadership opportunities, and community events, we aim to foster confidence, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging among our students.

The department organizes and supervises a wide range of activities including cultural celebrations, student leadership programs, sports and wellness initiatives, artistic events, field trips, and community engagement projects. These programs help students discover their talents, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and learn to appreciate cultural diversity.

In addition, the Cultural and Student Affairs Department works closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support the well‑being and character development of every student. By creating meaningful experiences beyond the classroom, we help students develop values such as responsibility, respect, empathy, and active citizenship. At TIS, we believe that education is not limited to textbooks. The experiences students gain through cultural activities, social engagement, and collaborative projects play a crucial role in shaping their identity and preparing them to become thoughtful members of the global community.
