A team of seven students from Tehran International School judged the 35th International Film Festival for Children and Youth. These students were selected from around 30 film and cinema enthusiasts. Over a week, they dedicated themselves to watching and reviewing three movies each day for three consecutive days, carefully evaluating and criticizing the films.
Our group of outstanding students including AbuBakr Abdulrasheed from Nigeria, Bohan Wang from China, Semin Kim from Korea, Mirza Chian Ciftci and Ahmet Miraz Ciftci from Turkey, Bukhori wan-ar-ree from Thailand, and Mohammed Hashem Ahmad from Iraq. They participated in a one week program in Isfahan City. Ms. Mino Taheri, Head of Reaserch & Innovation center, supervised the event.
During the festival, the students had the opportunity to visit scenic areas of Isfahan City and attend a dinner party hosted by the Isfahan municipality. The Indonesian film "Tegar," produced by Chandra Sembiring, won the award for Best Film and the CIFEJ prize from the International Film Organization for Children and Youth, based on the students' votes.
