1. Student Enrollment Roadmap

Welcome to Tehran International School!
Joining our school community is a step-by-step journey designed to ensure a smooth transition for your child. Please review the visual roadmap and the detailed steps below:

1. Pre-Enrollment: Parents complete the online Pre-Enrollment Form through the school website.
2. Document Submission & Initial Review: The Enrollment Office contacts parents and requests the submission of all required documents for review.
3. Meeting with the Principal: Parents and students meet with the Principal to learn about the school's mission, values, academic expectations, and policies.
4. Counselor Interview: The student and parents meet with the School Counselor. Information gathered during the interview is used to create a student profile for future academic and personal support.
5. English Language Assessment & Interview: The student meets with the Assistant Principal for an English language assessment to determine readiness for the school's academic program. School disciplinary policies and expectations are also discussed.
6. Final Admission Review: The student and parents attend a final meeting with the Principal. Admission decisions are made based on the reports by the Counselor and the Assistant Principal.
7. Tuition Payment & Registration: Upon acceptance, parents complete the enrollment process by making the required payment through the Accounting Department.
8. Textbook Collection: Students receive their textbooks and are officially ready to begin their educational journey at Tehran International School.

2. Required Documents for Registration

• Copies of all written pages from the passports of the student, father, and mother.
• Copies of all written pages from the birth certificates of the student, father, and mother.
• Copies of all written pages from the national ID cards of the student, father, and mother.
• Residence visa (for foreigners only).
• Recommendation letter from the previous school (for newcomers).
• The original report cards and transcripts from the last two academic years, signed and sealed by the Iranian Embassy in the country where the student studied.
• $6$ color photos ($3 times 4$). (Corrected from 9 photos)
• Yekta Code documents (for foreigners only).

 Dear non-Iranian parents who do not have an Iranian national code

• We would like to inform you that in order to enroll and continue studying in the next academic year, your child’s name must be registered in the “Sida” Education System of Iran. For this purpose, it is mandatory to obtain a 10-digit unique code called “Yekta Code” for the student, the father, and the mother. Please follow the guidelines below to acquire the code:

• Extend your legal residency/stay in Iran.
• Visit the Foreigners’ “Kefalat” Office (Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs) and request the Yekta Code. (Please note that this application must be submitted individually for the father, mother, and student).
• Deliver the 10-digit unique Yekta Code to the school registration office:
  • For Grades 7, 8, and 9: Deliver to Ms. Hamidzadeh (Middle School Executive AP)
  • For Grades 10, 11, 12, and IB1 & IB2: Deliver to Ms. Maleki (High School Executive AP)
